19th July
We are please to be hosting the Warwickshire Ladies County versus Mid Cheshire on Sunday 19th July 2015 with play starting at 2:00pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to publicise the club and green to the wider bowling community whilst also raising funds for us.
We need help from ALL members whether that is in support on the day by way of helping to run the bar, teas and coffees, BBQ, and generally offering assistance. Or if you are not able to assist on the day it would be appreciated if you could offer cakes, biscuits or any other saleable goods to help raise funds.

21st March
"Grand opening" of our green on Saturday 21st March at around 1pm.
We shall run a round robin competition and have an American buffet... (Everyone bring a bit !!)
There's not many weeks to get practicing with the W & W league starting on 11th April, so be good to get a few weeks practice in!
Will hopefully see most of you at pre-season meeting on 20th, if not try and get up for a few ends the following
Unconfirmed winner was Tumble who beat Davo in the final. Losing semi finalist Kate and TT.

Could we be crowned as league winners today ?
Another fixture against Sherwood.KR, JB & TT were todays players. For most of the game there was only one point seperating the two teams. Score was 12-12 after 17 ends where we managed to lose by a single shot!
Awaiting results of remaining games to see if we can hold on to top spot in a three way fight with Wythall "A" and SIBC.
Eventually finished 3rd in the league !

16th February Message from Kate - fundraising
HI all,
I hope you are well and looking forward to the new season! I know I am!!
With regard to social events I am going to be organising something on the last friday of each month, the first being a quiz night on the 27th Feb. Profits from the evening will be split in accordance with how many tickets each section sell. So it would be great to see as many bowlers there as possible!!

Also I am planning to run a kids club every first friday in the month, from 4pm onwards, there will be arts and crafts, taster karate sessions and lots more! So if you have any kids, grandkids or friends with kids please bring them along!!
Finally I am going to be writing to local business’s to see if we can get any sponsorship, OR, if any of you would be keen to get your business advertised at the club please let me know!!! This is to assist with purchasing things such as paint, tables, chairs, etc to assist with renovating the club.
My main agenda will always be the bowls but I feel if we can improve the main club house as well it will encourage more people to come to the club, resulting in new members!! Which we need !!
So, please try and support !
Kind Regards
Kate Fall
