Round robin - Sat 29th SeptA dozen plus members took the last chance of the season to bowl (competively ?) on the green this year with a 2:00pm start. Reasonable weather ensured everyone had the chance to have at least 3 games to 11 up. News is that TT lost 21-20 to SD in the final. Well done to Simon D.

28th July Championship day
A turn out of about 25 bowlers were able to enter this years competition - a good effort! Many friends and family also took advantage of the good weather to see some very excellent bowling. The final commenced at around 7:30pm and was contested between last years champion Bill Davenport and Simon Dreher. The eventual winner in a close fought game was Bill (21-18). Congratulations to Bill.
The club would like to thank all for turning out and all the donations towards the days fund raising efforts.. Special thanks must go to chief BBQ chef Elizabeth who spent most of the hot sunny day grilling burgers and hot dogs etc.

Agenda for AGM January 13th 2012
Winter Indoor bowls at SIBC
Well the first of our indoor matches has taken place and although we did not win, it was very competitive right up till the 17th of the 18 ends. In fact on end 15 we were 2 shots up. Next match against Wythall B next Saturday and I should like to try someone new in the team to gain experience, as over over 2.5 hours of bowling it becomes an all new ball game in concentration and stamina.
After this weeks game (26 Nov) we have two in December.
